About

The Optimus System is a drone-in-a-box platform achieving persistent BVLOS ISR with no human physically present — the dock handles charging, maintenance, and mission cycling automatically.

Integrations

Airbase ↔ TIGR (Transportable Interoperable Ground Robot)

Roboteam's TIGR (Transportable Interoperable Ground Robot) is paired with the Airobotics Airbase / Optimus aerial platform under Ondas Autonomous Systems' multi-domain architecture. Ground robot extends sensor coverage into denied / contested terrain while the aerial Optimus provides overwatch and wide-area ISR.

Airbase ↔ MTGR (Micro Tactical Ground Robot)

Roboteam's MTGR (Micro Tactical Ground Robot) — a man-portable backpack-class throwable / wheeled UGV — is paired with the Airobotics Airbase aerial system under OAS's multi-domain stack. MTGR provides indoor / urban / confined-space ISR; Airbase provides outdoor / area ISR.

Airbase ↔ Probot

Roboteam's Probot — a larger logistics / load-carrier UGV class — pairs with the Airobotics Airbase / Optimus aerial system under OAS. Probot can serve as a forward sensor + supply node that the Optimus drone covers from above.

Airbase ↔ Ground Diligence System

Mistral Inc.'s Ground Diligence System (its long-running US DoD perimeter-security product line) is paired with the Airobotics Airbase aerial monitoring platform under Ondas Autonomous Systems. Mistral provides the US-side market access + integration; Airobotics provides the autonomous aerial sensor.

Airobotics Optimus ↔ American Robotics BVLOS

Two complementary FAA approvals stack together. American Robotics holds the first-ever FAA BVLOS waiver permitting fully automated Beyond-Visual-Line-of-Sight operations without on-site pilots or visual observers (originally granted January 2021 for the Scout System, extended to the Optimus System after the Airobotics → Ondas → American Robotics consolidation). The Optimus aircraft itself holds its own FAA Type Certification. Together they enable a single dock-to-dock commercial flight with no human at the take-off site. A January 2025 follow-on waiver extends operations over people and moving vehicles from a remote operations center.
