Dedrone is a counter-UAS detection-and-mitigation company specializing in sensor-fusion airspace awareness — combining RF detection, radar, EO/IR cameras, and acoustic sensors into a unified DroneTracker.AI software layer. Their RF Sensor and AI-driven detection / classification pipeline is the company's primary product; DroneDefender (an optional pluggable RF jammer) provides one of several mitigation paths but is not the core business. Acquired by Axon (NASDAQ: AXON) October 2, 2024, where Dedrone now sits alongside Axon Drones and Axon Air to extend Axon's public-safety / first-responder situational-awareness stack into the C-UAS domain.
