RTX Corporation (NYSE:RTX) is the defence and aerospace prime renamed from Raytheon Technologies in July 2023. Operates three segments: Collins Aerospace (~80,000 employees — avionics, mission systems, autonomy), Pratt & Whitney (engines — F119, F135, GTF), and Raytheon (missiles, radars, EW — consolidated from RIS + RMD in 2023). Notable autonomy work: Collins Aerospace Sidekick mission-autonomy software flew on GA-ASI's YFQ-42A CCA (Feb 2026) — selected for USAF Collaborative Combat Aircraft Increment 1 testing.
