Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of MissionRobo (the “Service”), operated by MissionRobo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What MissionRobo Is

MissionRobo is an intelligence platform covering the autonomous-systems ecosystem - companies, products, integrations, learnings, and editorial analysis. We aggregate information from public sources and supplement it with our own research and architectural analysis. The Service is provided for informational and research purposes. We do not provide investment advice, security clearance guidance, export-control determinations, or operational recommendations.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may not register more than one account per person without our prior written consent, and you may not share an account with other individuals.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

The Service offers subscription tiers (currently “Intelligence Brief,” “Pro,” and “Premium”) billed monthly or annually. Pricing is shown on our pricing pages prior to purchase. By starting a subscription you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless cancelled in advance through the customer portal accessible from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date.

Refunds. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial refund in cases of prolonged Service outage or billing error. Annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term are not pro-rated.

Price changes.We may change subscription prices on at least 30 days’ notice by email or via the Service. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Your use of the payment processor is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. By providing payment information, you grant us permission to share it with Stripe for the purpose of processing charges and managing subscriptions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • resell, sublicense, scrape, or systematically extract the Service or its content for commercial republication;
  • use the Service to compile a competing dataset, train a competing model, or feed automated systems with our editorial analysis without prior written consent;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • interfere with the Service, its security, or other users (including by sending excessive automated requests);
  • use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, or deceptive purpose;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with any company or individual, or impersonate any person.

Reasonable, attributed quotation of editorial content for reporting, commentary, or fair-use research is permitted.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, editorial analysis, taxonomies, and compiled data, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own internal research and business purposes during your subscription. All other rights are reserved.

Underlying factual data about third-party companies (e.g. company names, product names, public press releases) is not owned by us. Where we cite a source, the source retains its own rights.

8. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep company, product, and integration data current, but the autonomous-systems sector moves quickly. The Service is provided “as is” with no warranty that any specific data point, analysis, or article is accurate, complete, or current. Do not rely on the Service alone for investment, procurement, regulatory, export-control, or operational decisions. Independently verify any fact that matters.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party providers including (without limitation) Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Microsoft Azure for hosting. Outages, errors, or policy changes by those providers can affect the Service. We are not responsible for third-party services and disclaim liability for their acts and omissions to the extent permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. No advice or information obtained from us creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any breach of these Terms, for prolonged inactivity, or where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends and any outstanding charges become immediately due. Provisions intended to survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, dispute resolution) will survive.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits a consumer’s rights under mandatory local consumer-protection law.
